Warhammer GM Problems

After posting a petition to get my guild back (6 days ago), I had to call VA Tech Support, they could not help either because they are only level 1 support. He said the problem is on Mythic's side and they require level 2 or 3. EA also said that it was ridiculous that they are removing GM's from there position. I think I am going to post on the Warhammer Alliance Forums. The VA Tech support also gave me an e-mail address to send my petition to, he also said it is sent directly to Mythic high level support so I should see a response today. We will see, if I do not get a response then I have to give them a call back today.

Warhammer GM Problems

Well I took a break form playing Warhammer (kid was on the way and WOTLK came out) and while I was away for a month (mind you I never canceled my account) they took it upon themselves to remove me from my position as guild leader, as a matter of fact they bumped me all the way down to initiate! I was truly upset about this, after all the effort I put in to get people to come over from WoW to play Warhammer, building the guild web page, putting the guild together, building members, and the list goes on.... Not only did they remove me from my position they made the change 2 times, they gave leadership to my friend Meni, then 15 days later they made Noki (Noky) leader. I spoke with Noky in World of Warcraft and he said he canceled his account so he could not make me leader.

What right does Warhammer have to just remove a GM from there position, I kept my account active, I logged on periodically and yet they do this... It truly makes me want to delete my account with Warhammer.

Vista DvD Problems, Code 39

I upgraded my computers processor from a 2.1 gh to a 3.1 gh. After I upgraded my processor I ran into some problems with my Vista not recognizing my DvD. I figured that I would post how I fixed the problem.

If you get this message "Windows can't load the driver for this device. The driver might be damaged or missing. (Code 39)"


This is not a software problem

1) Updating the drivers does not work.
2) Deleting the device does not work.
3) I do not recomend a system restore

Follow these steps for VISTA (this is taken from Microsoft Knowledge Base:
256986 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/256986/):

Make sure you back up the folder you are working on, you can do this by renaming it.

Step 1: Start Registry Editor
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK. Registry Editor starts.

Step 2: Delete the UpperFilters registry entry
1. In Registry Editor, expand My Computer, and then expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
2. Expand SYSTEM, and then expand CurrentControlSet.
3. Expand Control, and then expand Class.
4. Under Class, click {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
5. In the right pane (topic area), click UpperFilters.

Note An UpperFilters.bak registry entry may also appear. To delete the UpperFilters registry entry, you must click UpperFilters and not UpperFilters.bak.
6. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
7. When you receive the following message, click Yes to confirm the deletion
of the UpperFilters registry entry:
Are you sure you want to delete this value?
The UpperFilters registry entry is removed from the {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} registry subkey.

Note Do not exit Registry Editor. You must have this program for the next
step.
Step 3: Delete the LowerFilters registry entry
1. In Registry Editor, expand My Computer, and then expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
2. Expand SYSTEM, and then expand CurrentControlSet.
3. Expand Control, and then expand Class.
4. Under Class, click {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}.
5. In the right pane (topic area), click LowerFilters.

Note An LowerFilters.bak registry entry may also appear. To delete the LowerFilters registry entry, you must click LowerFilters and not LowerFilters.bak.
6. On the Edit menu, click Delete.
7. When you receive the following message, click Yes to confirm the deletion of the LowerFilters registry entry:

The LowerFilters registry entry is removed from the {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} registry subkey.
8. Exit Registry Editor.

Step 4: Restart the computer
If a CD recording program no longer works after you restart the computer,
you must reinstall the CD recording program.

Warhammer Beta

I started the beta test for Warhammer and have gotten my Orc up to level 14 in 20 hours of playing. Joined a guild last night called the Wolfpack. Seems like a decent guild. I can't wait to get OoT going in Warhammer. Untill WoW comes out with with the new expansion, I will be playing more Warhammer than WoW. Can't wate to grind up to level 80 lol.

Leveling Build

Undead Priest: Sinotraw / Malfurion
I've decided to start leveling an Undead Piest. Basicly this are notes I can turn to on what to do, how and when.

Currently my priest is lvl 22 (very close to 23) I stared him out healing spec but found out that this does not work very when when lvling, I quickly respec at 20 to Shadow. So far this is working out very well. What I am going to look into is macros to make casting much easier.

I have looked around for the best PvE leveling tree but this very hard to find so I started digging through the web and here is what I have found.

I'm sticking with this spec till 60 for fast leveling then when I hit 60 I'll decide what to respec to.

Level 1-39 I'm going with this:

Back From a Long Break

Well I'm back from a very long break of keeping up with the postings. A lot has taken place since the last post. I now work at Georgetown University Law Center in Facilities Managment. I am still at the Washington Convention Center as a Quality Assurance Manager, I am taking classes at Georgetown University just to further my education. Life is pritty much like a roller coaster, it has it's ups and downs but for the most part it's loads of fun. At the Washington Convention Center I took pictures at the auto show. They are listed below so enjoy!! I have to tell you all about the Football game I went to where the Redskins crushed Dallas, the Base ball game where Senators Crushed the Nets, I will not talk about taking the family to see the Wizards loose agains Utah but I will post pictures of that, last but not least... I have to talk about WoW and Order of Thought, I can't do without my MMORPG!
